ABE REIMER Abe Reimer, 68, was greeted with the words, well done, good and faithful servant, by his much-loved saviour, Jesus, on July 25, 2006. Missing and celebrating him are his cherished wife of 42 years, Linda (Loewen); his daughter Lorilee Lori Reimer Craker (Doyle) and his son Dan Reimer (Tina). Living in his noble legacy are his treasured grandchildren, Jonah Abram, Ezra, and Phoebe Craker, and Zoe, Jadon, Eli and Brenan Reimer, all of Michigan. Abe was born in a Mennonite colony in the Ukraine, and came to Canada with his family when he was ten. Abe loved his God and served him well all his life. He also loved his wife, his kids, grandkids, his nieces and nephews, the church, and running a Christian bookstore, in that order. Abe lived a life rich in faith, family, friends, and books. He never met a stranger, and helped countless people over the course of his life. We miss you, Dad, and we will carry the torch until we see you again. Funeral service will be held Tuesday, August 1 at 10:30 a.m. at McIvor Avenue Mennonite Brethren Church, 200 McIvor Ave. Visitation is Monday July 31 from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Friends Funeral Service, 2146 Main St. Interment to follow in Glen Eden Memorial Gardens. If friends desire, donations may be made to Family Life Network, 225 Riverton Ave., Winnipeg, R2L 0N1. FRIENDS FUNERAL SERVICE 2146 Main Street, 339-5555
